Hannah is an adult with a proper job. But as she readily admits in the final scene of Girls’ penultimate Season 4 episode, she’s “faking everything.” Just like Marnie, Shoshanna and Jessa. Just like everyone else.
The problem with Hannah, though, is that she is so utterly unconvincing as a functioning adult human that even her boss calls her out on it.
